The Rendina Family Foundation Donates $50,000 to Cancer Alliance for Help & Hope from its 9th Annual "Raising the B.A.R." Bruce A. Rendina Memorial Golf Tournament

JUPITER, FL, December 26, 2015 - The Rendina Family Foundation held its 9th annual "Raising the B.A.R." Bruce A. Rendina Memorial Golf Tournament on November 6 at the Palm Beach Par Three. The Rendina Family was joined by 94 sponsors, supporters and friends for lunch and a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Golfers enjoyed a perfectly Palm Beach Day on the links, with blue sky and a gentle ocean breeze. Awards, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed the golf outing, which was sponsored by Atlantis Paradise Island. Other major sponsors included HRE Capital, Mohegan Sun, Dignity Health, Barclay's, KeyBank Real Estate Capital, Kaplan Young & Moll Parron, Anderson Moore Construction Corp., Akron General Health System, Caesars Entertainment, Davis Stokes Collaborative, LaRocca & Associates and Hixson, Marin, De Sanctis & Company, P.A. Most attendees also joined the Foundation for a party, with silent auction, live music, DJ and dancing the following evening at the home of Richard and Tricia Rendina in Jupiter. The Cancer Alliance of Help & Hope received $50,000 as the primary beneficiary of funds from the ninth annual Rendina Family Foundation "Raising the B.A.R." Bruce A. Rendina Memorial Golf Tournament in furtherance of the Foundation’s mission, which is to enhance the quality of life for families and individuals who have been affected by cancer. The Foundation endeavors to accomplish this through the funding of organizations, hospitals and biotechnology companies that excel in researching and developing cures for cancer. In addition, we support efforts to increase the general welfare of the communities in which the Foundation is actively involved.
